Celebration of Beth Newkirk's life: There will be a Memorial Celebration for our own Beth Newkirk. Be sure to make arrangements to stay over for about an hour after the show to celebrate her life and enjoyment in the Cat Fancy. Watch for a detailed announcement. Photographer: Larry Johnson Fees - Make checks payable to Abyssinian Midwest Breeders, Inc.. No post-dated checks will be accepted. All fees must accompany the entries. Returned check charge - $35. There will be NO refunds. Confirmation of entries will be sent to the exhibitor, after receipt by the Entry Clerk. Check the confirmation for correctness and notify the Entry Clerk of any errors. Maps and motel inforamtion will be sent with the confirmation. Please waive signature for all priority mail. Show Hall - The St Charles Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Plaza, St Charles, MO, is heated and air-conditioned as needed and is handicapped accessible. People food will be available at reasonable prices at the complex. The St Charles Convention Center is located on Interstate 70 about 5 miles west of the Interstate 270 and Interstate 70 interchange and about a 10 minute drive from Lambert St Louis Int'l Airport. We will help get exhibitors to the airport or an airport hotel on Saturday after the show for those flying out Sunday morning, but we are limited with picking up exhibitors Friday. The St Charles Convention Center is a non-smoking facility. Parking is free. Show Hotel - .Need help finding a room? There is a Red Roof Inn located nearby at 2010 Zumbehl Road, St Charles. Phone: 636-047-7770. There are many hotels located nearby. Check this this local website for pet friendly hotels: http://stlouis.airporthotelguide.com/airporthotels.html Booths - Single booth space is $40, which includes one 2 x 8 foot table and booth width of 10 feet. Each additional table is $25. Contact Jan Pitelka for booth space at 815-483-6411 or email cateeza@aol.com Advertising - Full page: $30; half page: $20; quarter page: $15; business card: $5. General - All championship, premiership and registered kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. All entries must be registered with CFA except kittens. No kittens under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. The show is licensed by the Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc. All CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. To obtain a copy of the current Show Rules, send your request with $7 to CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. This is a non-vetted show. You are advised to have your entries inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, rabies and be FeLV tested before entering. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Litter and water will be provided. Please bring litter pans, water dishes and cat food. Exhibitors should bring drapes or towels to cover the top, sides and back of cages. Cage size is 21" x 21" x 21". Double cages are 21" x 21" x 45". Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded according to CFA rules. We will be using permanent flats in the judging rings. Silk flats will be available for those exhibitors wanting them. A single cage will be provided for each single entry. Bring suitable drapes or towels to cover the top, sides and back of cages. Sales cages are limited to those exhibitors that have entered at least one cat/kitten in the show. One adult or two kittens per single cage please. All kittens/cats for sale must be in cages. None will be allowed in carriers under the tables. Maps and motel information will be sent with the confirmations. Liability - Abyssinian Midwest Breeders will take reasonable care to safeguard the property of exhibitors. Neither the club, its members or the St Charles Convention Center will be liable for any loss or damage. |
