Entries - No post dated checks - Waive signature on express deliveries. All fees must accompany entries. The entry clerk will phone COLLECT to clarify questionable entries. US Funds ONLY. Checks payable to LINCOLN STATE CAT CLUB, INC. $50 Returned Check Charge. No refunds for failure to bench. There will be a $10 substitution fee. Confirmation of entries will be sent to the exhibitor after receipt of the entry forms by the entry clerk. All mailed, faxed and online entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to start of the show, whichever is first; therefore, if you enter online, fees are due 10 days after you enter. Confirmation will be sent by email unless otherwise requested. See our website www.lscats.org for directions and map.

Information - Entries are limited to 225 cats. All championship, premiership and registered kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. All entries must be registered with CFA except kittens. No kittens under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. The show is licensed by the Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc. All CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. To obtain a copy of the current Show Rules, send your request with $7 to CFA, 260 East Main Street, Alliance, OH 44601. This is a non-vetted show. You are advised to have your entries inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, rabies and be FeLV tested before entering. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Litter will be provided. Please bring litter pans, water/food dishes and cat food. Cage size is 21" x 21" x 21". All cats must be brought into the show hall in a carrier.

Lincoln State Cat Club will take reasonable care to safeguard the property of exhibitors. Neither the club, its members, CFA or the Harper College will be liable for any loss or damage. All cats must be removed from the show hall at the close of the show Saturday night.

Show Hall - Our 30,000 sq foot facility, Harper College Sports & Wellness Center, is located on the college campus at 1200 W Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL. 1.5 miles north of I-90 at Roselle Rd.
Exhibitor entrance will be off of Roselle Road, just north of Algonquin Road.
This is a lovely suburban campus with ample FREE PARKING and back door loading access. The show hall has central heating and is handicapped accessible. There are show hall loading doors with traffic assistance to ease entry and check-in. Directions and unloading information will be sent with your confirmation.

Airport - O'Hare Airport is located 20 minutes from the show hall. The show hotel has arranged a discounted taxi rate, one-way from/to O'Hare, with ALLSTARCAB. Reservations for this taxi service must be made in advance - 847-658-1555. You will be picked up in the limo area. Cab service to other hotels is available from the airport taxi stands. Rates will vary. Or check with other hotels for available shuttle service.

Show Hotel - La Quinta -Chgo/Hoffman Estates, IL, 2280 Barrington Rd, 1-847-882-3312. Room rate is $53.10 with CFA discount. NO pet deposit is required. Breakfast is included.
For online reservations use the CFA discount code CATFAN9 or mention CFA, if calling. La Quinta will provide shuttle service between the hotel and the show hall for our fly-in exhibitors. They have also arranged a discounted taxi rate from/to O'Hare. See above airport info. There are 10 restaurants within 0-0.25 miles from the La Quinta-Hoffman Estates. Dozens of additional hotels and motels, in every price range, are available within minutes of the show hall in Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights and Palatine, IL. Dining - As with accommodations, there is an endless choice of dining. Everything from fast food to a Brazilian Steakhouse and everything in between is available. A list is posted on our website. www.lscats.org

Shopping - Besides our great variety of vendors, you'll be minutes away from Woodfield Mall and other outstanding shopping venues. February is a great sale time in the Chicago area.

Household Pets - HHP will be judged in 8 rings. Lovely awards will be given to the winners. All household pets 8 months and over MUST BE NEUTERED OR SPAYED. The Show Committee may require proof of altering. Altered HHP kittens (4 through 7 months) as well as unaltered HHP kittens may be shown in accordance with CFA show rules. De-clawed cats cannot be shown in conformation classes per CFA show rules. For more information about HHPs, contact Beverly Frenzel at injoi_osh@verizon.net

Novice Exhibitors - Bring a towel or rug for the cage floor and material for the sides and top, with clips to fasten the material. You will also want to bring a small water bowl, food dish, food and litter pan. Litter will be provided.
