Fees - Fees must accompany entries. Make checks payable to Sandhills Cat Club, Inc. All entries must be on a CFA entry form or facsimile. Entry clerk will call collect for any entry clarifications necessary. No refunds will be given for failure to bench.
Show Hall - The AG Pavilion is handicapped assessable and will be heated as needed. People food will be available. Reasonable care will be taken of all cats and personal property; however, neither the Sandhills Cat Club nor the Seward County Agricultural Society will be liable for any loss or damage. Parents must supervise children at all times. There will be NO SMOKING in the show hall. Directions to Show Hall - From I-80 take the Seward exit which is Exit Number 379. Go North on Highway 15 about 6 miles. At the junction of Highways 15 & 34, take a left turn and go west approximately 6 blocks. At 14th Street, turn right (or North) and the show hall is about 6 blocks. 14th Street will take you right to the front of the show hall. |

Motels in Seward - Seward is located 20 miles west of Lincoln and 20 miles east of York, NE, and about 5 miles off I-80. Seward only has two motels that will accept pets, but alternative cities only 20 miles away are listed below. Make your reservations early for the Seward motels. When making your reservations, please check with the hotel of your choice in regards to pet deposits, fees, etc. Please make sure to keep you hotel room clean, so in the future years we can continue to have the hotel on our list. Super 8, 1329 Progressive Road, Seward, NE, 402-643-3388 Motels in York - Best Western Palmer Inn, 2426 S Lincoln Ave., York, 402-362-5585 Motels in Lincoln - Ramada Airport Inn, 1101 W Bond Street, Lincoln, 402-475-4971 Household Pets - HHPs will be judged in all six rings. They must be neutered or spayed prior to 8 months of age. Kittens that are 4 months and under 8 months in age are not required to be altered, but it is strongly recommended. Entries 8 months or older that are not altered are ineligible or entry. Cats may NOT be declawed. If you need more information, PLEASE call or email the entry clerk. She will be happy to help make this an enjoyable experience for you. Please bring cage curtains, towels, sheets, etc., to cover the top bottom, sides and back of cage. One half cage is included with your entry; if you wish to have full cage, please request a double cage. Cost is $20. General - This is a non-vetted show. All cats and kittens should be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotrachetis, calici virus, rabies and tested for FeLV. All cats and kittens must be free of all contagious illnesses, fleas and ear mites. Front and rear claws must be clipped prior to benching. No kitten under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall. Owners of very small kittens may be asked to show registration papers. Sandhills Cat Club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and non-premiership. Cats and kittens whose registration numbers appear in the catalog will be scored for CFA national and regional awards. Ribbons will be awarded according to CFA rules. Permanent flats will be used. Ribbons will be available. CFA show rules will be enforced. To obtain a copy, send $5 to CFA, 1805 Atlantic Ave., Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. Cage Size - Cages will be 21" x 21" x 21" (single) and 21" x 21" x 45" (double). Litter will be provided. Sales - An exhibitor must own cats and kittens for sale. Minimum sales price is $100 and it is strongly recommended that all pet sales have a spay/netuer agreement. |
