Photos for the Midwest Region Awards Booklet, and Slide Show
Deadline: May 26, 2023
The Midwest Region gives awards to its:
- Top 25 Championship Cats, Kittens, Cats in Premiership
- Top 15 HHPs
- Distinguished Merit Cats
- Grand of Distinction Cats
- Top 3 Championship Cats in a Breed, 50 points required
- Top 2 Championship Cats in a Breed Color, 50 points required
- Top 2 Premiership Cats in a Breed, 50 points required
- Top 2 Kittens in a Breed, 50 points required
Photo Submission Requirements:
Please submit as soon as possible.
Pictures must be top quality photos – 300 dpi or better – and at minimum 4×6. You can have your photographer email them for you to ensure proper quality. Most typical scanned photographs are not of the right quality – You may scan your own photos, but please make sure the photos are at least 4″ x 6″, 300 dpi high resolution scans and in a .jpg format.
Breed and Color Award Winners – 1 photo.
Top Championship, Kitten, Premiership and HHP – 2 photos for the slide show, one head shot and one full body shot would be best.
DM and GoD – 1 photo, full body shot is preferred.
Best Cat, Kitten, Premiership Cat, and HHP 3 professional photos (including a head shot and full body shot) and at least 12 candid shots/videos of your season. You also need to choose a song, please provide Name of Song and Artist.

In the email subject line, please put Regional Photos.
Within the email to which the image is attached, please include:
1) The cat’s full registered name
2) The division (K, C, P, DM, God, HHP, Breed/Color)
3) Owners name
Emailing Photos is preferred. If necessary, you may mail an original hard copy photo, no smaller than 4×6. Contact Paul for mailing address.
We will have a file from CFA listing the official name, titles, breeder and registered owner. ONLY the recorded name, titles, breeder and owner, from CFA, can be included on your award.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Deadline: June 1, 2023
This part of the awards evening is all about the exhibitors and breeders and your experiences traveling around the region, country, and world showing the your beautiful cats. Please share your photos for all to see in regional OTRA presentation.
Photos of those departed are also needed for the Memorial Section of OTRA, please provide those to Jim as well.
We are also honoring those special felines that have been so much a part of our lives. If you have a special feline to remember, please send a photo and cats name to Jim.

It’s time to start getting psyched about whose award we want to sponsor or how we can help support our Breeds and our Region. There are various ways to do this.
First Place Cat, Kitten, Premiership Cat or Household Pet – $65
2 – 25 Cat, Kitten, Premiership – $55
2 – 10 Household Pet – $55
Distinguished Merit or Grand of Distinction – $55
Breed Awards (includes Color awards) – $25
In addition to, or instead of, individual sponsorship, we invite you to donate to our General Award Sponsorship fund. This will be used to fill in any gaps and would be a great way for show producing clubs to support the cats who helped their shows succeed. Also good if you just want to help support the Region as it honors these beautiful cats. All donations will be acknowledged in the awards booklet.
