Midwest Region Spotlight Award – 2013

The recipient of this award shall be someone with a minimum of seven years in the cat fancy who has given outstanding service to CFA in any capacity.

Cathy Dunham, this year’s Midwest Region Spotlight Award Winner has supported the Midwest Region in ways that are quite amazing. Her willingness to take on any task large or small without hesitation deserves recognition. Her service is unparalleled and personally much appreciated by her Regional Director. Her work in show production has made it possible for all of us to experience the joys of our hobby. Outstanding service – just imagine taking on the challenge of chairing a regional banquet, producing the booklet, managing the pictures, managing the awards, providing decorations most of which she does by hand, coordinating the efforts that are required to make this evening a reality. And that’s not all! Cathy has her thumb on the pulse of tomorrow with her work with the Youth Feline Educationan Program. And in her spare time she and her husband Roger show beautiful British shorthairs and Sphynx under the cattery name Britz-O-Honey Cattery. Wonder Woman!
