Midwest Region Humanitarian Award – 2015

This individual has contributed to CFA as a Board Member for eight years and leading one it’s most important committee. His contributions not only have been of benefit to CFA but on a broader platform to all felines. He is the CFA Scientif Advisor and has made great strides in bringing the technology of genetic marking to CFA. He led the way to CFA being engaged in a DNA Program, pet insurance inititives and investigated micro-chipping. These efforts have enhanced our breeding programs, provided avenues for affordable veterinary care and provided safety for our cats.

He practiced small animal medicine and is a worldwide feline consultant. His service to animals is broad and all encompassing.

As an exhibitor he is a gentleman. He quietly goes about his passion of showing great cats in phenominal condition. He is generous in winning and gracious in losing. Although as of late he has not has much experience in loosing!

He and his lovely wife, Nancy, breed and show world class, stunning Ocicats. Their cattery is DotDotDot Cattery. Please join me in congatullating this years Humanitarian Award winner – Roger Brown.
